A. Terms of Service — Users (Parents/Families)

Last updated: Dec 12, 2025 These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the MyLilVi mobile app, website, waitlist, newsletter, and related services. By using MyLilVi, you agree to these Terms.

1. Overview

MyLilVi connects parents/families with service providers such as postpartum caregivers, childcare providers, meal prep, and cleaning services. MyLilVi facilitates bookings, payments, and in-app communication but does not provide services directly. Service providers listed in the platform are independent contractors to Mylilvi and not direct employees.

2. Eligibility

  • Must be 18+ years old.
  • Must provide accurate personal information.
  • Must comply with these Terms.

3. Account Responsibilities

  • Keep login credentials secure.
  • Account activity is your responsibility.
  • Do not attempt to bypass platform rules.

4. Communication Rules

  • All communication must occur through the in-app chat.
  • Do not share personal contact information with providers.
  • Attempts to arrange off-platform services or payments are prohibited.

5. Booking, Payments & Refunds

Users pay the booking fee + 15% platform fee.

Payment is processed via Stripe.

Refunds follow the cancellation policy:

Emergency or safety-related changes may override standard rules.

6. Safety & Conduct

  • Provide a safe environment for providers.
  • Do not harass, discriminate, or endanger providers.
  • Do not request unsafe or illegal services.
  • If unsafe conditions occur, providers may leave and users may cancel bookings.

7. Liability

MyLilVi is not responsible for provider performance, outcomes, or any damages.

Services are provided "as is".

  1. Account Termination MyLilVi may suspend or terminate accounts for violations of rules or unsafe behavior.

Users may request account deletion via in-app ticket.

9. Privacy

Refer to the Privacy Policy for details on data collection, storage, and deletion.

10. Updates

MyLilVi may update these Terms and notify users through the app or website.

B. Provider Agreement / Independent Contractor Terms

Last updated: Dec 12, 2025 This Provider Agreement ("Agreement") governs your use of MyLilVi for Service Providers, including booking services, communication, and payouts. By using the provider app, you agree to these terms.

1. Provider Status

You are an independent contractor, not an employee of MyLilVi.

You are responsible for taxes, compliance, and professional conduct.

2. Verification & Onboarding

  • Upload government ID and selfie for verification.
  • Provide certifications as required.
  • Consent to background checks.
  • MyLilVi may deny or revoke access if verification fails.

3. Provider Conduct

You must:

  • Arrive on time and deliver services professionally.
  • Maintain safety and hygiene.
  • Follow reasonable household rules.
  • Not provide medical procedures or advice.
  • Not solicit off-platform bookings or payments.
  • Use in-app chat for all communication.
  • Avoid sharing personal contact info.

Safety Clause: Providers may leave unsafe situations; users may ask providers to leave if they feel unsafe. If off platform communication is initiated, service provider may be suspended from the platform

4. Booking, Payment & Cancellation

Providers set their hourly rates.

Users pay booking fee + 15% platform fee.

Payments are processed via Stripe.

Payouts may be withheld for safety, verification, or off-platform violations.

5. Off-Platform Activity

First offense: Account suspended.

Second offense: Account permanently banned.

Providers may lose payouts if off-platform bookings are detected.

6. Safety & Liability

MyLilVi is not liable for performance or outcomes.

Providers must maintain insurance if desired.

Providers agree to conduct services safely.

7. Intellectual Property

MyLilVi owns all app code, branding, designs, and content.

Providers may not replicate, copy, or reverse-engineer the platform.

8. Account Termination

Violation of Terms, unsafe behavior, false information, or failed verification may result in suspension or termination.

E. Cookie & Tracking Policy (Website)

Last updated: {{Insert Date}} We use cookies and tracking to improve website performance, deliver newsletters, and provide a better user experience. Types of Cookies:

  • Functional: Enable basic website functions
  • Analytical: Measure website traffic (may include Google Analytics)
  • Marketing/Optional: Only if activated for newsletters

Third-Party Tracking:

  • None in MVP beyond email collection for waitlist/newsletter

Managing Cookies:

  • Users may disable cookies in their browser.
  • Some website functions may not work if cookies are disabled.

Data Sharing:

  • Email addresses collected for newsletters will not be sold or shared.
  • Only used for platform communications.
